Abstract

Andinobates dorisswansonae is a frog species of the family Dendrobatidae that is only known from two municipalities in the Department of Tolima, Colombia, inhabiting sub-Andean forests on the eastern slope of the Central Cordillera. Here we report the presence of this amphibian in the Municipality of Casabianca, Tolima, 17.9 km from its type locality. The species was observed in a small patch of high dense forest, close to areas with strong expansion of the agricultural frontier, which can be a potential threat to this amphibian.
